"Because you never know which exhalation will be the last! This is the value of life! And this planet is so imperfectly perfect, and I want to enjoy being here."
Yana Orenchyna-Kulaha is from Kyiv, Ukraine. She was born in the city of Rivne.
Her spiritual name is Puran Taj Kaur, which means, “strong shining aura!” As she explains, “Kundalini yoga is not just yoga for me - it's a way of life! It is a spiritual goal! I use it to reveal my radiance, to go from darkness to light - mental, physical, spiritual, and to help others to go this way! Ukraine is going through the most difficult times, but it is in these times that great shining souls are born. These souls will then light the way for others! Showing that light always wins! Kundalini yoga for me is a lighthouse that shows the path my soul has to take!”

Her whole family practices Kundalini yoga, and family values are very important to her, so she promotes such values as love, honesty, compassion, and kindness in her classes. First of all, is the understanding that only by establishing a relationship with ourselves can we interact harmoniously with others. Therefore, for her, Kundalini yoga is about relationships with ourselves, and with God within us. It is very intimate and sensual.

Yana loves sports, physical practices, and to teach sound therapy classes! She just loves to breathe, to live, to feel this life with every cell in her body, and in every breath! As she says, “Because you never know which exhalation will be the last! This is the value of life! And this planet is so imperfectly perfect, and I want to enjoy being here… And to teach people this - To value life, to value family, and the planet! Love life with all of your heart! Sat Nam to all of us!”
