Ol­esia (Lesya) Stoyanova, is the head and lead organizer of the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Academy of Ukraine and the Sat Nam Rasayan School in Ukraine.

 

In the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, her spiritual name is Jagtaran Kaur. “Jag” means world / universe, and “Taran” is a swimmer or raft. Jagtaran Kaur uplifts and inspires others to recognize their true essence, and helps them to swim through their sea of problems in this life.

 

These two technologies of Sat Nam Rasayan and Kundalini Yoga, are of great importance to her. They help her cope with the difficulties and challenges of her current circumstances, helping her to be strong and bring these teachings to other people, supporting them through extremely difficult times.

As she explains, “With the advent of the war, we launched the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Academy of Ukraine in 2023. To date, in collaboration with the Kundalini Research Institute, we have organized and hosted the two biggest Kundalini teacher trainings ever held, anywhere in the world. The idea is to train as many Kundalini Yoga teachers and healers as possible, to help Ukraine recover from the trauma of this war.”

She states, “Working with a group of our Ukrainian healers, we have been working with our military, prisoners, and refugees to help them heal from the trauma of the war. We have been collaborating with the Guru Ram Das Center, which develops yoga protocols for Ukraine, and teaches our students the knowledge of rehabilitation of military personnel with shell shock, amputations and phantom pain.”

Ol­esia teaches Kundalini Yoga, regularly conducts healing sessions of Sat Nam Rasayan, and is continuing her studies, deepening her experience. Her teachers are: Guru Dev Singh, Hari Nam Kaur, Jerome Shankar, Simran Singh, Kulbir Singh, Gurubachan Singh, Gurmukh Kaur, Bibi Nanaki, Dr. Haridass and many other incredibly powerful teachers.
