Anastasiia Rubel, whose spiritual name is Ajeet Arti, lives in Poltava, Ukraine.

 

Throughout the war, she changed her occupation from being an office worker in an IT company, to becoming a Kundalini Yoga teacher.

 

As she explains, “Kundalini yoga was a very important factor while I was adjusting to life in the war. I don't know where I would be, and how I would feel, without it. Kundalini Yoga offers all the aspects that a person needs: understanding of how the world operates, a feeling that is true and complete, as well as all the tools to stabilize oneself, to clean one's mind, and to find one's true identity. I am grateful for all my experiences as a yogi, and also as a Ukrainian.

My spiritual name means, 'the one who stays victorious in all of the challenges connecting to the constant prayer of light.' Kundalini Yoga helps me have this connection. Even though the complete victory of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war has not yet arrived, I believe that the victory of light over darkness is internal. I believe that my light is winning most of the time, and I hope that your light is winning too.”

 

She also loves to dance, sing, and learn new things - all the time.
